Token Goblin keeps the game state on your Mac and does not require an account, advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking. It records only the run details you choose to enter or send through its CLI and URL integrations.

What stays local
Goblin XP, preferences, active run, recent history, achievements, and cached access state are stored locally in the app’s sandboxed container and Keychain where appropriate. There is no Token Goblin account system or app backend to sync this data.
What the app does not collect
Token Goblin does not read prompts, source code, repository contents, terminal output, command output, filenames, file paths, contacts, location, browsing history, payment information, or personal identifiers. The CLI and URL scheme receive only explicit task fields and result metrics.
Your controls
Task titles are hidden from shared receipts by default. Settings can clear run history or reset all game progress, and the app’s privacy settings show that accounts and analytics are not used. Apple handles payment credentials while Token Goblin receives the verified lifetime entitlement needed to unlock the app.

Does Token Goblin read my code, prompts, or terminal output?
No. Token Goblin does not read prompts, source code, repository contents, terminal output, or file paths. The CLI sends only the task details and result metrics you explicitly provide.
Can I reset my history and XP?
Yes. You can clear local run history or reset game progress from Settings. Incorrect predictions never deduct XP.
Can I restore a previous lifetime purchase?
Yes. Open Settings, choose License, and select Restore Purchase. StoreKit checks Apple for a previous lifetime entitlement; the website does not process payment details.
