Overview

This policy explains how Token Goblin handles information when you use the macOS app, visit this website, or contact support. Token Goblin does not require an account and is not supported by ads.

Game data stays on your Mac

Token Goblin stores your fake-point balance, preferences, active run, recent run history, achievements, and locally cached access status in the app's sandboxed container and system Keychain where appropriate.

This data is not synced to a Token Goblin account or uploaded to our servers because Token Goblin has no account system or app backend.

Token Goblin does not read your work

Token Goblin does not read or collect prompts, source code, repository contents, terminal output, command output, filenames, file paths, contacts, location, browsing history, payment information, or personal identifiers.

CLI and URL integrations

If you use the bundled goblin CLI or the tokengoblin:// URL scheme, the app receives only the fields needed to start or settle a run, such as the task title, runner, estimate, success state, files-touched count, broken-test count, and permission outcome.

Wrapped terminal commands continue to write their normal output to your terminal. Token Goblin does not ingest or store that output.

Shared receipts

Task titles are replaced with “Private AI coding task” by default. If you enable task-title sharing, the title you entered may appear in a copied or exported receipt.

Receipts never include prompts, source code, repository contents, terminal output, or file paths. Saving a PNG uses the standard macOS save panel and writes only to the location you select.

Trial and purchases

Token Goblin communicates with Apple's App Store through StoreKit to load localized purchase information and verify or restore the lifetime unlock. Apple processes the transaction; Token Goblin does not receive your card number or payment credentials.

This website

This marketing website contains no advertising, analytics, cookies, account system, contact form, or cross-site tracking scripts. If you email support, we receive the information you choose to include in your message.

The hosting provider may process standard technical request logs, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and timestamp, for security and reliable delivery under its own terms.

Retention and your choices

You can clear run history from Token Goblin Settings. Removing the app and its container removes the remaining local game data. Support emails are retained only as needed to respond and maintain relevant support history.

Token Goblin includes no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or data-broker SDKs. We do not sell personal information or track you across apps and websites.
